Bonding is going slowly. I’m not very good at playing and she’s not very good at coming when called (probably related phenomena). We’re signing up for dog classes where they promise to teach us a fun trick every week for six weeks (in addition to the sit/stay/down stuff) so that will help me work on my playing skills.

She’s beautiful, and I get lots of compliments on her. I’ve decided that all dogs with small waists are beautiful, and most dogs in our neighbourhood are encumbered with thick waists, so she stands out. This observation is motivating me to work on my own waist.
